JOB DESCRIPTION



ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY





Assist with medium volume of cases in any of the following areas:

• Civil Litigation

• Real Estate

• Probates & Trusts

• Criminal Trials


Work independently with supervision of a senior attorney on each case assigned. Expected to conduct initial consultations, draft legal documents, assist with the discovery process, perform legal research, conduct settlement negotiations on behalf of clients, liaise with clients and other Attorneys, file documents, and make court appearances, as necessary.

Provide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining the attorney's calls, correspondences, calendar, and travel arrangements.


Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings and contracts Collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation.


Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and statements.


Communicate with other staff members and external Attorneys to schedule meetings and complete transactions.


Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper and electronic filing systems.


Manage client billing by preparing, finalizing, and sending out bills, as well as resolving billing issues in cooperation with the billing attorney.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT





Provide general administrative assistance, to an Executive. Duties include screening calls, answering messages, maintaining calendar, schedules, and travel arrangements.


Draft and proofread correspondence and organize files for meetings.


Communicate with clients and other staff to schedule meetings, and interviews.


Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper and electronic filing systems.


Manage billing by preparing, finalizing, and sending out bills, as well as resolving billing issues in cooperation with the Executive and Accounts Officers.

FILE ROOM MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR





Develop, Implement and Maintain a Comprehensive and Easy to follow Filing System for a Medium sized Organization.


Create and Maintain an up to date Master List of all Files, both current and archived, being able to retrieve files efficiently.


Manage all databases and records.


Process and scan files to be entered into computer in digital database.


Work with web based data storage, such as CLOUD, OneDrive, or GoogleDrive.


Use scanners to convert forms, receipts, and reports into electronic format.


Perform regular checks on the Filing System.


Supervise Filing Room Clerks.
